Peekaboogifts4kids go egg rolling!

Wow what a busy few weeks we've had here at peekaboogifts4kids HQ, the kidlets have both been off school and pre-school. The weather has been gorgeous, and we have enjoyed many happy days outdoors just being together and having fun.
There is nothing quite like, having a lovely long day of adventures, coming home exhausted in the car- smelling of suncream, with sand between your toes.

Some of the highlights so far was our family tradition of egg rolling with Granny, Pipi, Uncle Paul, Sofia and Harry the dog- (unfortunately Mia and Bex couldn't make it as poor little Mia had chicken pox and felt very poorly)
We painted our eggs early on Easter morning with lots of bright colours and placed them in our Easter basket. We then trekked to our nearest wood- and found a perfect egg rolling hill. The sun dappling through the trees, and the smell of pungent wild garlic just added to the serenity of the day.

The competition commenced, eggs were hurled down the hill with great force, any passing squirrel winced and scurried past, lucky to not have had their head knocked off with afore mentioned stinky egg! "Harry the dog" our gorgeous little shit zhu, found it very amusing to chase the eggs down the hill, and tried a couple of times to eat the eggs, much to the annoyance of the kidlets.

A lovely family bbq followed this yearly tradition, as a little girl, the hi-light of Easter would always be the egg rolling and bbq rather than the delicious chocolate eggs. I hope our own kidlets pass on this tradition to their children and grandchildren and keep the tradition going.
